Winner of eight state awards, Once Upon a Cool Motorcycle Dude was celebrated in a mailer sent out from Bloomsbury USA Children's Books. It was very exciting to receive the packet of postcards and see our cover there.
It was an amazing project and a pleasure to work with Emily Easton at Walker Books. Written by Kevin O'Malley, who also illustrated the two narrator characters, Scott Goto who illustrated the dude part and of course me. I had a great time illustrating the pretty princess, and of course princess warrior!
